iKamper and Rivian Expand Partnership with New Skycamp 4.0 DLX for Rivian

iKamper and Rivian today announced the Rivian x iKamper Skycamp 4.0 DLX, expanding their collaboration with a new generation of rooftop tents for the Rivian vehicle lineup. The new Trio size is designed as a natural fit for Rivian’s R1S and all-new R2, while the Duo continues to complement the R1T.

Built on iKamper’s new Skycamp 4.0 series, the Rivian edition delivers a more open and livable space without increasing the tent’s rooftop footprint. Improved interior geometry provides increased headroom, larger doors and windows, and more usable space. The tent also introduces two firsts for iKamper: the HC Staircase, with steps integrated directly into the ladder, and an electrical junction box that routes power from a compatible external 12-volt source.

Additional campsite functionality includes independently dimmable interior and exterior lighting, dedicated HVAC and electrical passthroughs, and USB-A, USB-C, and 12-volt outlets. Customers can choose the tent without a mattress, with iKamper’s foam mattress, or with an upgraded three-inch self-inflating air mattress.

• Rivian-specific sizing: The Trio sleeps up to three people and is designed to complement the Rivian R2 and R1S. The Duo provides a compact configuration for the R1T.
• More livable interior: Updated geometry creates additional usable space, increased headroom, larger doors and windows, and an expanded skylight without increasing the rooftop footprint.
• HC Staircase: A first for iKamper and the next evolution of HC Steps, with steps integrated directly into the ladder for cleaner installation, easier packing, and more comfortable access.

• iKamper 12-volt power cable: Connects the junction box to a 12-volt automotive accessory outlet in a vehicle or compatible portable power station. The cable will be included complimentary with purchase of a Rivian x iKamper Skycamp 4.0 for a limited time.
• Interior and exterior lighting: Independently dimmable light bars provide white, amber, and red lighting inside the tent and around camp.
• HVAC and electrical passthroughs: Dedicated access points provide routing for compatible heating, air-conditioning, and electrical equipment.
• DuraCore™ FRP Shell: A redesigned dual-layer, fiber-reinforced plastic shell built for durability across changing weather and trail conditions.
